With the era of email and computers, blogs and facebook, definitely we lost the wonderful habit of writing. We used to send letters to lovers, to leave notes on sticky papers, to use notebooks and to carry in our bags something to write on and a pen. Is it completely lost?
Verba volant. Scripta manent. This is true: but scripta where? Do we think that what we send via email will last for ever?

I'm so glad that Matthew Brodie equipped with tons of A3 sheets made this fabulous collection of clothes made out entirely of paper: in case we don't have a notebook in our purse anymore and we have the urgency to write down something, we can use our skirt, or sleeve, or top...we only have to carry a pen, a pencil or a case we feel creative.

Be happy and laugh loudly

Sometimes Most of the times I feel so predictable on this blog in my life...
I came up with this simple equation:
- today=2nd day of fall
- Sara has a blog
  therefore: a post about fall...
can someone be more obvious? I don't think so.

(Autumn memorandum:
1. findind originality)

Autumn to me means long walks into woods with my camera, cappuccinos with friends in the warmth of  a nice cafè, rainboots and transparent umbrellas to gaze at a dark and full of rain sky, raked foliage piled high throughout the neighbourhood, fire places on Sunday mornings...
Such simple things but yet so full of heart and glow, that they may be predictable, but they make my day season come to life.

Be happy and Glow

Sometimes storms rage inside a woman's heart. She's is restless, she is fierce, she thought herself how to be real. She doesn't want to be rescued. She can rescue herself.
This is the eternal lesson we all have to learn from Jane Eyre.
So when the wind brings Mr Rochester's words: " Jane, my Jane, where are you?", we all know Jane must be hedged in our hearts. That's the only way to live.

Be Happy and Be Fierce

The last rays of warm sun enlighten the streets. Soon the shades around me will be turning into cold. I enjoy for a little bit longer some warm colours that remind me of summer
take another little piece of my heart september

Stay Happy and Laugh loudly

I f you are nearby Montepulciano, in the gorgeous and poetic Tuscany, don't miss to visit this Cave of Design, where several designers exhibit their products.

Still speechless for the beauty of it:
something so old such as a cave combined with something new such as enterior design, but as the best marriage they are perfectly in love, one set into the other for a breathtaking final result

be happy and laugh loud,

Never as this summer I've seen so many weddings taking place: does it mean that love is still in the air?
Friends got married, relatives got married, bloggers got married, celebrities got married (many of them also divorced, but I wouldn't dedicate a post to that topic...I don't have that much of space).

To all the happy couples I would like to dedicate Sonnet No°116 of Mr Shakespeare, with a suggestion: learn it by heart, it will be a fellow companion along the way.
Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

Be happy and laugh loud,

True poets sometimes are hidden in unthinkable people...

"...and the moon / it's better they told me as a child what it was / for I could not understand it now." -Marilyn Monroe-

Welcome to the most glamorous event of summer evenings of Umbria.
I'm glad to introduce you to the fantastic reading of Marilyn's poems and Oriana Fallaci' s merciless point of view of the Golden Years of Hollywood with the lovely accompaniment of some of the eternal songs from the 50's.

These are the pictures are taken from the debut evening.
