I open my closet in the halflight of the morning. My husband is still sleaping when I get ready to go to work. I don't have much time to think about what to wear.
My trick? A small detail: what will make the difference.
And during summer time the choice goes necesseraly to a hint of colour: turquoise is the case.

I scream for the temperature inside and outside my house. Or ice cream...which may sound way better.
The sweltering summer has arrived and all around the news repeats ad libidum some suggestions to fight it.
Here is mine:
don't scream, just ice cream!
For summer 2012 the new trend is making your own ice cream and ice pops.
Can't wait to embrace my creativity!
When I have no money to buy new clothes or new make up the thing I do is using something with another purpose, so a little black dress becomes a top on a pair of jeans and a outrageous blush becomes a very bold eyeliner.
I have been so not updated lately
that I discovered what BB meant just few weeks ago. As I am so into
old movies I honestly thought it was something about Brigitte Bardot.
Then a very wise lady explained what BB meant nowadays...Blemish
Balm. BB creams come straight from Asia: women there are used to use
them since forever, and their skins glow! To be honest,
I was very skeptical, but I gave them a shot, and ta dah...I like
them a lot. Especially now, that it starts being warmer, I prefer not
to wear any foundation. So this is my beauty ritual in the morning:
rose water: to fresh and to give a tone to the skin (toner, in fact!)
Technically they stole my idea: I always thought I could look really pretty if I had pink hair, if I mixed all these prints, if I a had a wolf as a pet...
I think the least they could do was giving me the credits of it...
I have been totally ravished from the beauty and poetry of Francesca Mo's jewels.
I especially love the Hourglass collection, made with small shells, sand, old gears from old watches and things we all probably collected when we were kids but then an adult made disappear.
Francesca found all these pieces and created jewels.
I can't stop looking at them. They remind me as a kid with my hands full of sand seated waterfront staring at the horizon.
Sunday afternoon, I am on diet: come on, do I have to look like this when I will wear my bikini?
I need a break. Actually I am hungry. Donna Hey has the solution:
home made (light granola) with yogurt and fresh strawberry.
In a bowl make a mix of
oat flakes (biological and unsugared) - 2 large cups
add pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds - 1/2 cup each
some dried apricot
maple syrup - 7/8 tablespoon
and mix all together.
Put the mixture in the oven for 10 minutes, quite close to the grill so that it can get crunchy and slightly burnt (I said slightly!). Let it cool down before putting in a jar.
Create your own cup: fresh fruit on the bottom, unsugared yogurt, your granola on the top.
Delicious and healthy. My perfect break: totally without feeling guilty!
