I DREAM OF SPRING

During this period of the year, as the spring is shyly coming out, I love to fill all the rooms of the house with fresh flowers. They bring life, light and love. Isn't spring a season full of life? If we learn to breath with it, I really think we can learn to reborn somehow. Accepting the change makes us strong. Strong and beautiful as these flower.

On the last number of Elle Italy I have discovered this unique flower design, Giulio Guazzoni from Numero 9 in Milan. Can we call them bunches of flowers?

30 DAYS HAS NOVEMBER...

Thirty days hath September, April, June, and November; All the rest have thirty-one, Save February, with twenty-eight days clear, And twenty-nine each leap year.

Some people use this song, some others use the nuckles of the hands; and the most forgetful simply can't remember how many days there are in a month...this is my case.
Luckily Chanel thought this through giving us, poor girls, a nail polish for each month (for now just spring months), so no more worries, if I will see orange on my nails I will know we are in June and that June has 30 days...or wait maybe 31...??

7:30 the girl has to get up
8:30 the girl is having a coffee
8:45 the girl has to go to work
she has 1 hour and 15 minutes to come up with an idea of outfit to go to the office. Sometimes it is easy. Sometimes the girl doesn't have anything in the closet.
When the closet is empty she goes with colours. She loves strong combinations. At least she can distract  attention from her tired eyes. Can she?

NEW TALENT OF THE BLOCK

I have been known Marta Ferri's creations since very few days, but as I glanced at her dresses I coudln't help but wonder how it is possible that such a young designer can already seems to be so expert, with such a personal vision.
In a world where everything is a copycat, Marta has found Marta's style, a mirror probably of  herself and her life so far.
Ferri in Italian means iron: could a name be more appropriate for a 28 years old woman stepping into a dog eat dog world?

CORNFLAKE GIRL

Like all the gals in their thirties I have a debt toward Dawson's Creek. Part of who we are and the way we love it is due to that. And forget about Goethe and his The Sorrows of young Werter, we have based our emotional education on those characters very confused and, mostly, extremely confusing. But I have to say even in those not suspicious time I couldn't stand the holy Joey Potter, loved (why?) by everyone. I always rooted for the outsider Jen Lindley. And I guessed right.
This campaing of miss Williams is amazing and I can't wait to admire her performance in the movie A Week with Marilyn.
We hope for an oscar too, don't we miss Joey Potter? Who is the star now?!
